Terms of Service

This document is a general-purpose Terms of Service intended to cover the normal operation of the Veyit platform. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Before relying on it as a binding legal agreement — particularly for payment handling, consumer protection, or a specific jurisdiction — have it reviewed by qualified legal counsel.

1. Who these Terms apply to

These Terms govern your use of Veyit (the "Service"), a platform that lets a Merchant create and operate a storefront inside Telegram. "Merchant" means an organization or individual that creates a Store on Veyit and sells Products through it. "Customer" means an end user who interacts with a Merchant's Telegram bot to browse or purchase Products. "You" refers to either, depending on context.

2. What Veyit is, and is not

Veyit provides the software that lets a Merchant list Products, track Stock, receive Orders, and confirm payment through its own Telegram bot. Veyit is not a party to the sale between a Merchant and a Customer. The Merchant is solely responsible for the Products it lists, the accuracy of its listings, fulfillment, customer service, and compliance with applicable law in the territories where it sells.

3. Accounts

A Merchant account is created and authenticated through our identity provider. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and connected Telegram bot token confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Payments and orders

Veyit does not hold Customer funds. Depending on the payment method a Merchant enables, a Customer pays the Merchant directly (for example, by an on-chain or exchange transfer that Veyit verifies against the Merchant's declared payment method) or through an in-platform wallet balance. An Order is confirmed only once a matching payment has been verified. Overpayment is recorded rather than rejected; underpayment does not confirm the Order.

Digital goods are delivered automatically once an Order is confirmed. Physical goods remain the Merchant's fulfillment responsibility.

5. Fees

Veyit may charge Merchants a subscription or usage-based fee for use of the Service, as described on the pricing page applicable to your plan at the time you subscribe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

sell goods or services that are illegal in the jurisdictions where you operate;
defraud a Customer or another Merchant, including misrepresenting a Product or falsifying a payment;
attempt to circumvent Stock, payment-matching, or tenant-isolation controls;
send unsolicited bulk messages through a connected Telegram bot beyond what a Customer has consented to receive; or
interfere with the security or normal operation of the Service.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate a Store or account that violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or is required by law to be suspended. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue first. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

8. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Veyit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for disputes between a Merchant and a Customer. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
